About Studio Vera

A small studio, built around slow, considered design

Studio Vera began in 2014 with a simple idea: that a home should be shaped around the people living in it, not the other way around. What started as a one-room practice has grown into a full studio — but the way we work hasn't changed.

Every project still starts the same way: we spend time in the space, understand how it's actually used, and build outward from there. Materials are chosen to age well. Layouts are tested against real routines, not just floor plans.

Absolutely. During the consultation, we'll walk through what you already own and identify pieces worth keeping, reupholstering, or repositioning. Many of our favorite projects blend inherited or existing furniture with new pieces rather than starting completely from scratch.
No — we manage contractors, deliveries, and day-to-day site coordination on your behalf. You'll receive regular progress updates and photos, and we'll flag anything that needs your input, but daily on-site presence isn't required unless you'd like to be involved.
